First year work pt5
My second graphic design project (and final project of the year) was a response to Project for Tomorrow's competition "A Home for Everyone", the aim of this competition was to create a poster to raise awareness of homelessness and the fact that everyone deserves a home, without relying on text because they needed to be able to be used internationally.
The focus of my posters was how home means different things to different people

First year work pt4
The previous posts are all work from the first half of the year which is meant to build your basic art skills before specialising.
After Specialising in Graphic Design the first project I had was designing an lp cover, the album I picked was Revolver by The Beatles (I had to choose from a list of five, the others were Origin of Symmetry by Muse, Debut by Bjork, Music for Airports by Brian Eno, and a Michael Jackson album that I can't remember the name of).

My small scale mock. I thought the bright colours and flowers complimented the album, and I used delicate lines to stop it from looking dated or overpowering.
This is the final piece which I made at full scale by hand, and then scanned in and added the text (Also done by hand, but on separate pieces of paper). In hindsight this was really time-consuming and I should've made it at a smaller scale, then scanned and enlarged it.
